RAINFOREST MICROSOFT POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

  GRADE:  Six

SUBJECT:  Science

TOPIC: Rainforest

DESCRIPTION: After serarching the Internet for the required information and developing a study guide, each group is to design a Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation that covers all the required material and then give this presentation to the class.

MATERIALS: Computer equipped with Microsoft PowerPoint and an LCD projector

PROCEDURE:

1. Working together as a team, each group is to design their own  presentation.   It must cover all the required material, be creative, and each student must be involved.

2. After the presentations are designed, the team must decide who will give each part of the presentation.  Each member of the group must take part in the presentation.

3. Teams must practice giving their presentation so that they know the material and can teach it to the rest of the class.

4. Each group must their presentation and “teach” the rest of the class the information they were responsible for researching.
