The Belleville East High School "Museum In The Classroom Project" was developed by the students in the Wildlife Biology classes at Belleville East High School during the 1997-98 school year. Special thanks goes to the student steering committee who made major contributions to the final outcome of the project. The student steering committee included: Jennifer Bilyeu, Melissa Johnson, Rick McGuire, Jennifer Myers, Blake Schneider, and Ben Woods. Additional thanks goes to the Wildlife Biology teachers who coordinated the project, Tim Barth, Phil Short, Jean Becherer.

In addition to biology students, fourth year French students have made major contributions to the "Inhabitants" section by creating both the English and French versions of texts. Special thanks go to these fourth year French students (whose names appear at the bottom of the French texts) and to French teacher Madame Gwenne Hickman, who coordinated the project.
