Principal's Corner
Please make sure that you sign up for parent/teacher conferences. It is so important to keep the lines of communication open.
For grades K-8 we have been testing students with our Auto Skills program and will be testing the students with a program called Aimsweb. This program will help target areas of strengths and weaknesses for each student. This will all be a part of our RTI, Response to Intervention program. All of these programs are implemented to help in the achievement of AYP, Adequate Yearly Progress.
Tutoring is available for all students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 3:40. Please contact the office to sign your child up.
For grades K-6 we will be rewarding good behavior with monthly Principal’s Parties. We will be posting pictures of the winning classes of the parties on the school website.
Please make sure that your child is in attendance…..miss school and miss out!!
Please remember that ALL students must follow the dress code policy. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter!
If you know your child will be absent during the school year, you may pick up an Advanced Absence Notification from me in my office. This needs to be filled out and returned PRIOR to the absence, not after, in order to be considered for approval of an excused absence.
It is hard to believe that we have already hit the mid-term mark! The year is off and running and we need to make sure that all students are in attendance every day of school. Miss school and miss out!
